Romania: Aquaculture companies to get EU funds for energy efficiency and renewable energy production

Aquaculture entrepreneurs intending to invest in the energy efficiency of their own businesses or in the production of energy from renewable sources will benefit from a European grant of between 30% and 50% of the eligible project value (including eligible VAT).

The beneficiary will have to provide a minimum of 50% or 70% co-financing, which can be done in several ways: in-kind contribution, cash contribution made by the beneficiary, financing sources (bank credit) or combinations thereof .

Funding will be provided in the amount of 75% of the money coming from the European Commission, while 25% represents the national public contribution (total amount of financing, excluding VAT).
