Casa Auto launched CABY in Iasi, the first car sharing service in Romania that will use exclusively plug-in vehicles, Mitsubishi iMiev brand.

According to a press release, for starters, the CABY concept will be used by company’s employees. The next step involves expanding the fleet, and the service will be available to the general public at the next stage.

“We are passionate about cars and we are concerned about how they help people. We want people to travel more simply, more pleasantly and efficiently in cities without pollution. For this we created CABY, a modern concept in Romania, meant to make all our city trips more pleasant and easier,” Bogdan Pitigoi, President Tester Group, which includes Casa Auto, stated.

The electric cars fleet will be distributed throughout the city. After a single registration step on, the users will be able to rent their cars at one of the 5 charging units and use them for as long as they need, the autonomy between 120 and 300 km being optimal for everyday urban use.
