Romania: E.ON Energie will supply electricity to several authorities

E.ON Energie Romania has won a framework contract worth 63.3 million lei (about 14 million euros), excluding VAT, awarded by the Special Telecommunications Service (STS) for the supply of electricity to STS, SRI, SIE, as well as the Chamber of Deputies, the National Administration of Penitentiaries or the Bucharest-Ilfov Ambulance Service, according to the Electronic Public Procurement System (SEAP), reports

E.ON entered Romania in 2005, when it took over the former state-owned gas and electricity companies.

Companies in the E.ON Group structure currently operate a natural gas distribution network over 21,400 km long and an electricity distribution network of over 81,000 kilometers and carry out supply activities in 20 counties located in the northern half of the country, with about 3.1 million customers.
