Romania: Nuclearelectrica signs RON 35.4 M contract with Electrica

Romanian state company Nuclearelectrica (SNN) has inked a contract with Electrica worth almost RON 35.4 million (equivalent for EUR 50,000) for the sale of wholesale energy during January 1- December 31 2018 period, according to a press release sent to the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB).

Nuclearelectrica, which manages the Cernavoda unit, posted a net profit of RON 133.7 million in the first six months of 2017, up from the same period in 2016, when the net result was RON 1, 7 million. Nuclearelectrica revenues from the sale of electricity went up by RON 892 million in H1.
