‘2017 was a year of growth for Romelectro. We continued to reorganise the company and the group of companies Romelectro, managing more important contracts both in the country and abroad by the higher degree of internalisation of the activities. On the foreign market, we are present in Kosovo and Egypte, where you know we have set up a branch in each country and in Saudi Arabia where we set up a company Romelectro Arabia LLC where we are majority shareholder’ he added.
As regards the plans for next year, the company wants to grow the degree of integration and internalisation at the level of the Group Romelectro and on the international market they intend to establish partnerships with the big players on the market.
The Romelectro officials say that on the international market the Romanian entrepreneurs should be supported the governmental environment.
‘The international affairs develop in a strong competitive environment where – in many countries and regions – support on the part of a state institution is essential in getting the contract. It does not matter if the entity which benefits from the support is state-run or private. We have to mention the financial support that a Romanian exporter should have’ Secosan says.
