Romania: Second Cernavoda reactor operating again at full capacity and Transgaz new association

Romanian state nuclear power producer Nuclearelectrica said its second nuclear reactor at its Cernavoda power plant was operating at full capacity from Jan. 21 at 20:15 GMT after a glitch in one of the process systems was fixed.

Meanwhile, the shareholders of Romanian state-owned gas grid operator Transgaz approved on Friday an association with Spain’s Regasificadora del Noroeste to participate in the second round of bids to buy 66 percent of Greek gas transporter DESFA.
