Romania: State-owned energy companies will give 90% dividends to shareholders

The government will decide that state-owned companies to allocate at least 90% of the 2017 profit in the form of dividends or payments to shareholders, according to local media

The Government will discuss a memorandum on Thursday on “Mandating State Representatives to the General Shareholders’ Meeting / the Board of Directors, as appropriate, to national companies, national companies and companies with full or majority state capital, and to the autonomous administrations, in order to take the necessary measures to allocate a share of at least 90% of the net profit realized in 2017 in the form of dividends / payments to the state budget “.
