In a few weeks, Nissan will launch Leaf, the world’s best-selling electric car, on the Romanian market, as hotnews.ro informs.
Nissan announced recently that the company has sold and delivered 300,000 Leafs globally since its introduction, being delivered in Japan and is slated for deliveries this January in the U.S., Canada and Europe, including Romania. It will eventually be sold in more than 60 markets worldwide.
According to Hakim Boutehra, General Manager of Renault Commercial Roumanie (RCR), Nissan’s “ally” sold last year 130 electric cars in Romania, particularly the ZOE.
The new Nissan Leaf is a compact five-door hatchback electric car manufactured by the Japanese carmaker, significantly updated with a more powerful electric motor, a larger 40 kWh battery that is claimed to yield 150 miles of driving range, and new driver-assist features.
